Promises, promises, fifty years ago this summer. The 1962 Ford Seattle-ite XXI and the Ford Cougar, the former an obvious choice for transportation to the Seattle World’s Fair, and the latter an ideal sportster for women of a certain age. Like so much we were promised for The Future, it simply never happened.
